Our headquarters in Andalusia is Málaga. Our depot is located closely to the international airport. The airport "Costa del Sol" is the most important airport of Andalusia and can be reached directly from many locations in Britain, Ireland and the rest of Europe at favourable rates.
Other andalusian airports are Seville and Jerez de la Frontera. We offer motorhome handovers at these locations for a reasonable transfer fee. If you want to concentrate on the west of Andalusia or head further to Portugal these two locations form a convenient alternative. For comparison: From Málaga to Sevilla it is about 200 km and 2:15 h traveltime, from Málaga to Jerez about 235 km and 2:35 h traveltime.
Andalusia is known to be a popular destination for a classic summer trip with lots of sun, beach and sea. With a motorhome you are flexible and can avoid the strongholds of all-inclusive tourism.
But Andalusia can be visited by motorhome throughout the year.
During Easter time the Andalusians like to visit one of the many Parques Naturales (Natural Parks) in the interior of the country. This time of the year nature can be experienced from its most beautiful side there with activities like hiking, cycling, climbing, rafting and of course camping.
Ideal for motorhome trips are destinations like the Pueblos Blancos (White villages) in the provinces of Cádiz and Málaga or the Alpujarras in Granada.
Other nature parks that you can be visited by motorhome, are the Parque Natural Los Alconorcales to the south of the Sierra de Grazalema or the Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas in the province of Jaén. In this region you can also find the old university cities Ubeda and Baeza.
The Andalusian summer is known to be hot, so that it is best to stay near the coast and make only detours into the inland. The Atlantic coast between Tarifa and Huelva offers the best climate during this time. The area between Tarifa and Cádiz is very popular in August. If it gets too crowded there, you can simply drive the motorhome to less frequented areas. On the Costa de la Luz of the province of Huelva to the west of the Doñana National Park, you can find long beaches and often also shady trees to park the motorhome under.
If you don't have to stick to the high season you should envisage autumn as your travel time. In October the bathing season is over but the wheather is still mild and sometimes even hot. With pleasant water temperatures you have the wonderful beaches of the Costa de la Luz to yourselves. Also touristic attractions like the Alhambra in Granada or the cathedral of Seville are accessible without having to queue up or make reservations in advance.
The prices for campgrounds are considerably lower then compared to the high season. Partially this is also true for restaurants.
To classic winter campers, the campground and motorhome areas along the Mediterranean coast on the Costa del Sol, via Almeria and Murcia up to Valencia have always been known. You do not have to spend several months in Andalusia, but you can always escape the northern European winter for four to six weeks with our low-season budget-rates. If you want to travel inland at this time, you will experience the well-known travel destinations Seville, Granada and Cordoba aloof from the tourist crowds.
Our motorhomes are all equipped with heating and hot water boilers. Thus, they are always comfortably warm, even if gets cold outside after sunset at this time of the year.
The Coast of the Light extends in southwestern Spain from Tarifa to the Portuguese border. You can do this motorhome tour starting at our station in Málaga or at the transfer stations in Jerez and Sevilla. This tour is a combination of city break and beach holiday.
Explore the historic towns in the Andalusian inland by motorhome and relax on the Costa del Sol or the Costa Tropical. For this tour rent a motorhome from our depot at Málaga airport.
From Sevilla the Portuguese Algarve is easily accessible. Algarve (m.) comes from the arabic word for "west".
